What’s been happening:

I am married for 20 years to a plastic surgeon, David Rapaport MD, and the mother of 4 sons, one a freshman at MIT. I am the Residency Training Director for a Psychiatry Training Program, New York Medical College. I have been a board-certified psychiatrist for over 20 years, working largely with community psychiatry including the chronically mentally ill and substance abuse treatment. I was former Chief, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders Treatment Team, at a large VA hospital in Florida for several years and Trustee, American Academy of Psychoanalytic and Dynamic Psychotherapy. I live on the Upper East side of Manhattan and frequently reminisce about PSU and my old cheerleading days and make several visits yearly to State College, which is also my hometown.
